PRX is a unique product combining the effects of H2O2 and a high concentration of TCA, acting as a bio-stimulator helping the skin to create new collagen. This is NOT a peel, or at least not what comes to mind when you think of a traditional chemical peel. With proper prep and follow up care, there is no downtime and none of the risks commonly associated with peels. It does not create photosensitivity and is good for most skin types. As long as all actives such as; acids, retinol, & vitamin C are stopped one week prior to treatment (2 weeks with retinoic acid), the skin’s barrier remains in tact.
